Vodafone to increase availability of 3G in Hungary.

Vodafone has announced that it is teaming up with Huawei Technologies to increase the rate at which its broadband mobile data network develops at.

In particular Vodafone is seeking to increase the availability of it’s 3G (HSDPA) adding a number of new hotspots to Budapest before expanding the service to cover a number of other Hungarian cities.

Vodafone’s partnership with Huawei Technologies began in November 2005 when the two companies signed a global framework agreement.

The agreement set the conditions for Huawei’s supply of its services to any one of Vodafone’s companies worldwide.

The Vodafone group as a whole has expanded four point two billion pounds in capital expenditure this year, and how now achieved its core target for 3G availability across Europe which it hopes will lead to a greater uptake in high speed data services.
